BreakingNews 12/12/14 - Buhari Wins APC Ticket, To Run Against President Jonathan In 20015

[ Masterweb Reports ] – General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), 72-year-old Nigeria former military ruler will run against incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan  in 2015 presidential election as he clinched All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket after an all-night vote by 7,214 delegates at the party convention in Lagos.  Buhari came in first with 3,430 votes, former vice-president Atiku Abubakar second with 954 votes, Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso third with 974 votes, Governor Rochas Okorocha got 624 votes to place fourth and Sam Nda-Isaiah, Publisher of Leadership Newspapers 10 votes to come fourth. Sixteen votes were declared invalid and voided.
Atiku Abubakar, Buhari’s most prominent challenger conceded defeat as his votes soared towards 3,000. "Congratulations General Buhari. The delegates have spoken, you fully deserve the victory," Atiku posted on his Twitter account.
President Goodluck Jonathan, 57, Wednesday night, won the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket at the party’s convention. Masterweb was on ground to cover the convention and would publish a report soon.
