BreakingNews 24/7/16: Nigeria fails to qualify for AFCON, loses to Sudan

[ Masterweb Reports: Yahaya Ibrahim reports ] - The Nigerian Flying Eagles failed to live up to the expectations of fans at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, yesterday as they were defeated by the junior falcon of Sudan by three goals to four. With the loss, Nigeria has failed to qualify for the African Junior Nations Cup.
Fourteen minutes into the game which was played under heavy down, Nigeria scored the first goal through Samuel Chukwueze.

The Sudanese team equalised in the 21 minute through a goal by Amjad Ismaila Ahmed.

Funsho Bamgboye scored the second goal for Nigeria, to make it 2-1 while the Sudanese equalised in the 42 minute courtesy of a goal from Khalid Abdulmoneim.
The Sudanese team scored again through Walaa Eldin Musa,in the 57 minute to make it 3-2.

Nigeria Flying Eagles equalised in the 62 minute after a Sudanese player, Walaa Eldin Musa was sent off by the referee who awarded him a Red Card.

Despite the fact that their opponent was one man down, the Amunike tutored side failed to capitalise on this as they conceded another goal.
