BreakingNews 2/7/17: APGA governorship candidate dumps party


[ Masterweb Reports: Linus Effiong reports ] - Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State in the 2011 general elections, Chief Reagan Ufomba, has dumped the party. Chief Ufomba confirmed the development to Daily Trust on Sunday in a telephone interview.


Chief Ufomba, who was the Chairman, National Reconciliation Committee of All Progressives Grand Alliance, said, "after due consultation, I wish to officially announce my resignation from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)."


"We would however continue to pray for the party to overcome her numerous problems. From the bottom of my heart, I wish the party well in its future endeavours.


"My thanks go to our numerous supporters and loyalists. I enjoin all of you to be patient and law abiding while our next political move will be discussed in due course."
