Osinbajo said at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday while receiving a delegation of Nigerian human nutritionists led by Kano State Deputy Governor Hafiz Abubakar.

He said the present administration's homegrown school feeding programme was conceived to address problems of malnutrition, especially among primary school pupils.

He said the government would be ready to collaborate with states where nutrition issues were most urgent in prioritising the implementation of the school feeding programme.

Osinbajo noted that 14 states were already benefiting across the country, with almost 3 million pupils being fed daily.
