NewsReel 12/5/2014 - Release Our Girls And We Say No To Boko Haram, Say Nigerians In Spain

 [ Masterweb Reports: Hon. Uchendu Precious Onuoha reports ] – The federation of the Nigerian Communities in Spain (FNCS) has strongly condemned the Nyanya park bombing in Abuja in which many Nigerians lost their lives, and the April 14 abduction of about 200 college girls of Chibok college in Bornu State. In a statement issued by the president Emma Udieba to our special correspondent in Spain after a meeting with the executives of all the federating communities, stated that Nigerians in Spain and in Diaspora will not stand by and watch the lives of fellow innocent Nigerians at home been wiped off on daily basis by a group of some undesirable elements in any guise.


He said that it is high time the government and the security agencies stop paying lip service to the threat and menace of the Boko Haram insurgent group at the expense of the lives of Nigerian citizens. He called on the President Goodluck Jonathan’s government to brace up to the challenge posed by the disguised Boko Haram terrorists. The president Emma, made it clear that the Nigerian community in Spain are strongly against the recent abduction of our innocent young school girls whom their safety and whereabouts are not yet known. And he urged the government and its security agents to do everything possible to rescue these girls for the interest of peace and unity of the country.


Meanwhile as part of the measures to express their disaffection over these incidents, the president disclosed that about 38,000  Nigerian nationals that make up the Nigerian community in Spain has been mobilized and are set to take to the streets of Madrid and all over the regions in the kingdom of Spain on Wednesday April, 13 2014 in protest over this incident if these girls are not found. And they warned that they will stop at nothing until the whereabouts of these girls are known, and called on other Nigerians both at home and abroad to join efforts to realize that objective.
