NewsReel 24/5/14: Ebonyi Eminent Youths Association Condemns Abduction of Chibok School Girls

[ Masterweb Reports: Press Release For Immediate Release ]Dear Editor; Please I appreciate your good to our nation. I wish to appeal for this publication in your online magazine (Nigeriamasterweb). Am a regular reader.
I, Chaplain Nwonu Cornelius, the National President Ebonyi Eminent Youths Association, on behalf of our associationwish to condemn the abduction of Chibok School Girls by the Boko Haram insurgents in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria. We congratulate President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his government in their peaceful approach in tackling the issue of Boko Haram insurgency and acceptance of foreign help in curbing this unfortunate tragedy in our nation.
Boko Haram terror is devilish and inhuman in a nation like ours that has done so much in settling peace in other nations of Africa and the world at large. The abduction by the terror Islamic group is child abuse and a big slap to the world. We therefore call with urgency for all security agencies, both private and public, and individuals to join hands in the war against Boko Haram as the President alone cannot handle it. All political differences should be put aside to enable us win this battle.
We urge all Nigerians, especially the youths to be careful and very observant of their surroundings. Ebonyi State youths have long engaged in the art of farming and that has empowered lots of them that are graduates today. We implore the federal government to please embark on the Youth Skill Empowerment programme by establishing Skill Acquisition Centres in all the local governments in the country and also grant loan to youths who want to be farmers. By so doing, kidnapping and killings will eventually stop in our nation.
Chap. Nwonu Cornelius
