[ Masterweb Reports: Press Release For Immediate Release ] - Igbo Students under the auspices of National Association of Igbo Students (NAIS) and National Association of South East Students of Nigeria (NANSEN) have lauded the election of a veteran former student and youth leader of Igboland and Nigeria as the new Deputy National Publicty Secretary of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in its recent elections.

The spokesmen of the groups, Emeka Nnorom and Chidi Onuakalusi respectively  in their seperate statements noted that Chuks Ibegbu is a square peg in a square hole with lots of experience in Igbo, national and international matters. Also Igbo Youth Congress, World Igbo Youth Council and Coalition of All Igbo Youth leaders have congratuled Chuks Ibegbu, their technical Adviser and leader, for his election into the NEC  of the apex Igbo body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo. They wished him well in his new position.

In the same vein Ndinne Igbo, Umuada Igbo and World Igbo Women Congress have all lauded the election of Chuks Ibegbu as the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of  Ohanaeze Ndigbo. They also lauded the election of Barr. Nnia Nwodo and Barr. Uche Okwukwu respectively as President-General and Secretary-General of the group. They noted that with Barr. Nwodo, Barr. Uche Okwukwu, Chuks dIbegbu and others in the leadership of Ohanaeze, the Igbo nation would be repositioned soon.

Also Ndigbo in South Africa have  lauded  the election of Chuks Ibegbu as Deputy National publicity Secretary. In a statement by Osadebe Ibegbu, a former leader of Ndigbo in South Africa and elder brother of Chuks Ibegbu, he commended the peaceful election that enthroned credible leadership in Ohanaeze and wished  the Nwodo and Okwukwu led regime robust tenure of office.
