Nigerians should be very carefull about their individual opinions and utteranses on the recent attempted terorist attack on the US plane by Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab. We should never allow terorist tendeces or acts to divide our nation. This is the Al-Qaeda's number one formula. "Divide a nation, come into the country and form an alliance with the oppresed and create a base and an enabling environment for their evil opperations.

We should, in all standard, appreciate Farouk's father, in his wisdom. His timely intevention, by reporting his son's extreme religious activities to both the National and international security agences. This has shown that he is a father in deed. His early actions has saved Nigeria from a total shame and blame by the international body. Farouk's father should be honored in Nigeria as a hero, so that other fathers should emulate him and report any form or act of tororist tendences by their children, brothers, sisters or friends to the law.

I have read all comments here with interest and I must say that while some hit the point straight on, others are mere sentiments. What this young man has done is no doubt de-speakable but at the same time not a trigger for a division of the entity "Nigeria".
