*Parties In Dispute In Round Table Talk To Resolve Issues

The reported planned winding up of one of the domestic airline operators-IRS Airline, is being resolved amicably among parties concerned.
According to reports, solicitors from IRS Airline and those from First Bank Nigeria Plc and Union Bank Plc have been meeting with the aim of resolving issues in contention and puting the issue of winding up to rest. ( Continues below..... )

Though there was error of judgment from one of the parties, it was generally agreed among the parties in dispute to restore business confidence in the airline’s technical partners and especially the traveling public and its workforce. ( Continues below..... )

When contacted, the Executive Chairman of IRS, Alhaji Rabiu Isyaku Rabiu said it was true there were meetings between the airline’s lawyers and the banks, adding that the matter was being resolved.
Rabiu said that he would not speak further than he had done. This he explained was in a bid to allow all parties have genuine and open mind in resolving the matter at roundtable talk, rather than prolonged legal battle.
