[ Masterweb Team Report On Amaku University Teaching Hospital Project ]

Amaku University Teaching Hospital was the first project visited by Masterweb Team during her tour on August 25, 2011 of projects by Governor Peter Obi’s government. Our team described the institution as a bouquet of flowers in the horizon; that was how they saw it from afar before realizing it was the target of their project visit. The structures amazingly interlocked into rainbows of gracefully intertwined flowery colours that displayed architectural creativity. The external paintings of the buildings backboned the architectural flowery aura. Glory to God for the architectural designers of the hospital project who unraveled structural and landscape wonders in Amaku, a village needing all the hopes for good health and growth into an urban city.
Work is still in progress at Amaku University Teaching Hospital as more buildings are under construction in fulfillment of Governor Obi’s dream for a high rated teaching hospital in the community. Completed buildings were all above standard both in and out. Our team walked through these building and found none to be sub-standard, a determination which our statistical comparative analysis supported.
The Chief Medical Director of Amaku University Teaching Hospital told our team that they have a masterpiece blueprint for a complete landscaping of the hospital grounds with lawns, hedges, trees and flowers for the beautification of the premises once all building structures are completed.

God bless masterweb.com for bringing us these heart warming pictures.May Almighty God bless Governor Peter Obi for giving Anambra people a world class hospital and quality healthcare.As a medical practitioner, i am thrilled by this development and saddened that doctors in our beloved state have forgotten our oath to save lives and constituted themselves into a political block to scuttle the wonderful works of His Excellency for our people.As for the Amaku teaching hospital, i am afraid it may never attain accreditation to train medical doctors from MDCN soon, unless the Onitsha general hospital is merged to become part of the fledgling teaching hospital. In this way, more professionals and medical specialties/capability already achieved at Onitsha general hospital is brought under the teaching hospital umbrella as one hospital in two sites.Just like my alma mater the Obafemi Awolowo University teaching hospital at Ile-ife and Ilesa.This would also help the state government to cordinate the tertiary healthcare delivery in the state while easily upholding the highest quality heathcare across the state.
Congratulations to my fellow Anambra people for finally having a high quality healthcare system in our state capital.May God bless this Governor who made it possible.
