[ Masterweb Team Report On Anambra Ultra Modern Fire Service & State Emergency Project ]

By Masterweb News Desk

Anambra State Ultra Modern Fire Service Headquarters & State Emergency Management Complex, Awka was the second project visited by Masterweb Team during her tour on August 25, 2011 of projects by Governor Peter Obi’s government. The project as observed by our team easily qualifies as one of its kind in the country. The fire trucks and ambulances were all in mint condition and based on operational tests, were found to be above standard. Materials and equipments associated with the trucks and medical emergencies, were also determined to be all above standard.

Our team from on-the-spot assessment, rated the establishment amongst the best in the country, a determination which our statistical comparative analysis supported. Only a handful of states in Nigeria can boast of such modern fire fighting and emergency response facility.

Below are the amazing pictures our team took at the project site:-

OzudeI have seen and used the roads built by Gov. Obi. Compared to what we have before, I will give him A+. Having said that, the challenge is for us to demand the same or better from whoever comes next. God bless Anambra State.

johnsonGood question Mr Akande. The trucks I am looking at is no way near new. It looks like early seventy's (70s) trucks.Let give credit to the man for doing something. What offended me is the desctribtion of the truck as ultra mordern.

Emma ObidiegwuI have personally seen the trucks and ambulances - they are new and in excellent condition. They may not be the best in the world due to automation but they equally get the job done like the state-of-the-arts ones with the application of some manual mechanism. I have seen the fire trucks and crew at work at Awka market - they did an excellent job quenching the fire. It is a lie the trucks are 70s model - even if they are, the most important thing is the ability of the trucks to do the job. Those writing negative things about the trucks, should cite any situation the fire trucks failed to do the job.

fridayhonestly let us be sincere in what we said some, i dont understand wit of human bein we went leader something good they will try to fuge something different from his integrity. if we those types leader we try to appreciate for their good deed, and also pray for their success in their further agender. for he has done a good job, we should always be honest in what we say.

Stella OkogunAkande, Johnson and co, i know you people are not from Anambra.so i wouldn't expect anything good from you anyway. But whether you come from Anambra or not,why is it that Nigerians have such a foul negative attitude? It is like we like non-performing leaders because we must criticize everything and everyone even when it isn't necessary. For the past 20 years Anambra state did not have a wheel barrow for fire service. The Onitsha Main market have burnt down too many times as a result.
Today we have a governor that has taken it upon himself to provide the state with a fire service and state emergency management system.Yet istead of saying simple "well done" you hear all sorts of funny comments you would expect from jail birds and societal never do wells.Nigerians must learn to encourage our very few good leaders so that the many bad ones would have a change of heart.
