On Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 4:30 AM Pacific Time, I Nehanda Sankofara (Nana) will be interviewed about the Genocide in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on 102.3 FM, KJLH, the Front Page show with host Dominique Diprima . I will discuss my trip to the Congo and recent incidents occurring on the ground and similarities between the Congo and Haiti.
On Saturday November 19, 2011 at 3:00 PM I will speak about the the Congo at the AFIBA Center, 5730 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90043 this lecture will include a Power Point presentation, again I will be speaking about the Genocide in the Congo and the similarities of the post earthquake chaos occurring in Haiti. I will also speak about international grassroots efforts to help both countries and how you can get involved.
We will discussed our up coming Student Exchange Program/Trip to Ghana to teach students about International Trade and Commerce and Multimedia. Adults are welcome on this trip but only students will receive help from Mothers for Africa towards their travel expense. We are making special accommodations for adults who wish to travel with us, including sight seeing tours while the students are in school and you will also receive information about International Trade and Commerce.
