In addition, Ibiyemi noted that under the current leadership of Mazi Udoh, Nigeria’s bold attempt to migrate from terrestrial to satellite air navigation, otherwise known as Performance Based Navigation(PBN) received a boost recently when two foreign airlines test flew the new procedure with pilots successfully landing their aircraft at both Lagos and Kano airports.
